Overview:

Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College for Women (AMSASCW) boasts a Placement Cell dedicated to creating an effective platform for job seekers and employers.

Vision:

We  empower the  women by facilitating their placement in diverse organizations through our Placement Cell.

Mission:

Our mission is to nurture students into competent individuals equipped to manage their careers. We focus on training for employment and entrepreneurship, including preparation for interviews, group discussions, and pre-placement talks.

Objectives:

• Provide comprehensive counseling and guidance to students.
• Organize and coordinate campus interviews with various employers.
• Maintain a database of registered students to effectively match them with suitable job vacancies.
• Develop communication networks and build relationships with potential recruiters.
• Facilitate campus interviews with reputable organizations.
• Offer professional development training programs tailored to student needs.
• Conduct workshops focusing on behavioral skills and personality development.
• Foster meaningful interactions between industry representatives and academic institutions.
• Organize mock interviews and group discussion sessions to enhance student readiness.
• Host guest lectures and campus selection events featuring industry professionals.
• Arrange industrial training and internship opportunities for students.
• Assist students in identifying their strengths, refining their interests, and planning rewarding career paths.
• Provide training in communication skills, soft skills, and organizational skills.
• Invite industry experts to deliver guest lectures and share their insights

The Placement Cell Offers:

1. A bridge connecting job providers with job seekers.
2. Skill development training in areas such as resume writing, interview skills, group discussions, confidence-building, and corporate etiquette.
3. Guidance in career choices.

 Recent Activities:

Several prestigious organizations actively recruit from our campus, including Deloitte, Dell, Franklin Templeton, TCS (Ignite), Wipro BPO & IT, Genpact, HSBC, IBM, and others.

• The Placement Cell of Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College for Women is pleased to announce the successful completion of the NSDC Assessment Project for the academic year 2025–26. The assessment was conducted in two batches — the first batch on July 17, 2025, in which 28 out of 30 students appeared, and the second batch, in which 22 out of 30 students took part. In total, 50 students out of 60 appeared for the assessment. The college is delighted to have successfully completed this initiative and looks forward to continued collaborations that enhance students’ skill development and employability.
• On June 23, 2023, AMSASCW organized a successful placement drive featuring Sutherland Global Services and B4 (Black Swan World Class Business Technologies) for roles including Business Development Executive and Political Analyst (for BA Political Science students). The event attracted approximately 122 students from various streams and was conducted in MV Hall from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Additionally, in collaboration with 4AT Consulting LLC, AMSASCW hosted a workshop on “Employability and Entrepreneurship Opportunities in Finance and Accounting” on June 26, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:20 PM in MV Hall.

Through these initiatives, AMSASCW continues to empower women and prepare them for successful careers.
