Online webinar on Intellectual Property Rights-An Overview

Department of Mass Communication & Journalism has organised an invited talk by Dr Daniel Chellappa, an eminent scientist on Intellectual Property Rights-An Overview on April 8,2021 @ 3p.m

Principal I/C Dr.Jhansi Rani welcomed the speaker and the invitees and spoke about the college and it’s achievements in an elaborative way.

Professor Nakula Reddy Director (SFC) has informed about the program on Intellectual Property Rights, it’s importance and relevance in the  contemporary period.

Later, Head,Department of Mass Communication and Journalism Mrs.S.Sujatha,  gave an  introduction and information on speaker Eminent Nuclear Scientist Dr. Chellappa, his mission and vision on the subject. She warmly welcome Prof. Usha Munipalle, Chairperson, Prof M.Sreenivas Secretary-Cum-Correspondant, Prof. A.Nakula Reddy Director(SFCS), Intellectuals,Assistant Professor,faculty members and students.

The multi- faceted people’s scientist Dr. J.Daniel Chellappa spearheads the mission of overreaching the fruits of indigenous science and technology breakthrough, to the grassroots level  to enhance their livelihoods  and environment.

Dr.Chellappa,  a rank holder of Madras University joined the scientist community of Department of Atomic energy(DAE)  after his Post-Graduation associated with IIT Madras for P.G. Research Projects. He is a mentor, motivator, grooms the next generation scientists and entrepreneurs.

A senior nuclear scientist, with rich experience in Bharath Atomic Research Centre(BARC) Government of India.

He is actively involved in the National Science Communication Mission of Sensiting fellow citizens on Covid-19 Pandemic Protection protocols and safeguards, busting the myths and rumors. He is Honorary Director, Energy and Environment Research Council (EERC) and he is also their official spokesperson of DAE units of Kalpakkam.

Addressing the virtual webinar participants through his PPT on “Intellectual Property Rights”- And overview “Dr. Chellappa spoke on his journey of science and his inclination towards scientific temper of youth for youth who wants to instill confidence and he motivated the young mints into next generation scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs.

Dr. Chellappa answered the queries and had a satisfied session.

At the end of the session, the vote of thanks was presented by Mrs. S. SUJATHA, HOD, Dept. of Mass Communication and Journalism. She said “Two- hours of theme-meet has flyed like anything, igniting young minds of students”. Fraternity, on behalf of Dept. of Mass Communication and Journalism, I am profoundly thankful to Dr. Daniel Chellappa, for accepting and advertising webinar in short notice of time.

I am overwhelmed with the presence of sharp-minded students, intellectuals, film makers Ramesh Asst. Professor, Research Scholars and our dear faculty members of our college.

I am grateful to our college principal I/C Dr. K. Jhansi in accepting invitation and who spoke about the college achievements and development, which                         heading towards a top most college.

I sincerely convey my gratitude towards our chairperson Prof. Usha Munipalle, Secretary-cum-corresponent, Prof. M. Sreenivas Rao and the Director of SFC Prof. A. Nakula Reddy.

I appreciate each and every participant who made this event a successful one.

I am thankful to non teaching staff with me till the end of the invited talk program. I are again conveying my big thanks to 100 student participants.
