2 July 2026 An awareness programme on LGBTQIA+ was organized at AMS Arts & Science College for Women, Osmania University Campus, Hyderabad, on 2 July 2026. The programme was conducted in collaboration with the Queer Bandhu Parents Association (QBPA) with the objective of promoting social inclusion, equality, family acceptance, and a better understanding of gender diversity among students.

8th July 2026 The Department of Economics, Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College for Women (Autonomous), in collaboration with Jan Vignana Vedika, is organizing World Population Day – 2026 on 8 July 2026 (Wednesday) at 11:30 a.m. in the MV Hall, AMSASCW. The programme is being conducted under the theme “Realizing the Hopes and Aspirations of Young People – Today and for the Future.” The keynote address will be delivered by Padmashree Dr. K. Thangaraj, Senior Scientist, CCMB, who will be the Chief Guest. The event aims to create awareness among students about population issues, youth empowerment, and sustainable development.

9th July 2026 The Competitive Examination Cell of Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College for Women, in collaboration with Vidyarthi Nestham Educational Trust (VNET), organized an Orientation Programme on State Bank of India (SBI) Probationary Officers Recruitment 2026 on 9th July 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the MV Hall. The programme was convened by Prof. K. Jhansi Rani. It aimed to create awareness among students about career opportunities in the banking sector and provide guidance on the SBI PO recruitment process, eligibility criteria, examination pattern, and preparation strategies. Dr. G.S. Giridhar, Director of Rishi Academy of Competitive Exams, motivated students to pursue competitive examinations with dedication and confidence. Mr. Paras Belwal, Assistant Manager, State Bank of India (PO Batch 2022–23), shared his experience and offered valuable insights into effective preparation strategies, time management, and interview techniques. The interactive session was highly informative and inspired students to prepare systematically for banking and other competitive examinations.

15th July 2026 In connection with the birth anniversary celebrations of Padma Shri Smt. Durgabai Deshmukh, participated in the Blood Donation Camp organized by Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital & Research Centre (DDHRC) along with NSS volunteers.

15th July 2026 Language and Literary Club Activity:
The Language and Literary Club, in collaboration with Sahithi Kiranam, Kosaraju Arthi and Jahnavi Trust, organized an Elocution Competition on the topic “Parents’ Responsibility Towards Children.”

Student Induction Programme – UDAAN–2026: Fly Towards Success (17–18 July 2026)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College for Women, an Autonomous Institution accredited with NAAC B++ Grade, organized a two-day Student Induction Programme, “UDAAN–2026: Fly Towards Success,” on 17–18 July 2026 at the M.V. Hall. The programme aimed to welcome first-year undergraduate students, introduce them to the institution’s academic environment, values, facilities, and opportunities, and prepare them for a successful college journey.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Prof. K. Karuna Devi, Principal i/c, Prof. Y. Vasundhara, Vice-Principal, and Prof. A. Pramila, IQAC Coordinator. The inaugural session was graced by Sri D. Chakrapani, IAS (Retd.), Chairman, AMSASW, as the Chief Guest, and Sri Ch. V. Sai Prasad, IAAS (Retd.), Honorary Secretary & Correspondent, AMSASW, as the Guest of Honour. The event was attended by eminent academicians, distinguished alumnae, faculty members, students, and parents.

29th July, 2026 The Competitive Examinations Cell of Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College for Women successfully organized an Orientation Programme on “Preparedness for Central & State Civil Services” in collaboration with Vidyarthi Nestam Educational Trust (VNET) on 29th July 2026 at M.V. Hall. The programme featured Prof. C. Ganesh, Retired Professor and Former Principal, College of Arts, Osmania University, as the Chief Guest. Eminent speakers, including Shri Ch. V. Sai Prasad, IA&AS, Shri P. Nataraj, Shri G. Anil, and Dr. P. Murali Manohar, shared valuable insights on civil services preparation, career opportunities, and effective strategies for competitive examinations, inspiring students to pursue careers in public service. 28th and 29th July 2026 The Department of Computer Science, Andhra Mahila Sabha , Arts Science College for Women, in collaboration with IBM SkillsBuild and implemented by METAM IT Solutions, successfully organized a One-Day IBM SkillsBuild Awareness and Registration Programme on 28th and 29th July 2026. The programme was conducted on 28th July for Second Year students and 29th July for Final Year students with the objective of equipping students with industry-relevant digital skills in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Digital Literacy, Business Analytics, and Professional Skills. The sessions, led by industry expert Putchala Vishal Kumar, highlighted IBM certifications, hands-on learning opportunities, industry-recognized digital credentials, career guidance, and placement support, empowering students with future-ready skills and enhanced employability.. 29th to 31s July 2026 The Department of Political Science, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College for Women, O.U. Campus, Hyderabad, is organizing a three-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from 29th to 31st July 2026. The programme features eminent academicians and experts delivering insightful sessions on Urban Development Schemes, CO-PO Mapping & Attainment, SWAYAM MOOCs, National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Women’s Participation in Electoral Politics, and the Impact of Ayushman Bharat on Healthcare Access. The FDP aims to enhance faculty competencies in teaching, research, quality assurance, and higher education practices through interactive sessions and expert deliberations. Download
