About the Department

The Department of Economics at Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College for Women was established in 1968. The department is committed to fostering an understanding of economic principles and developing critical thinking skills in students.

Offer undergraduate and postgraduate programs with concern for values and women empowerment, nurturing learning skills, responding to community needs, and ensuring continuous professional enrichment of staff through participatory management.

Provide education that is enriching, challenging, and innovative, especially for the deprived sections of society, with a focus on empowering adolescent girls to actively participate in societal growth.
