ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OF ANDHRA MAHILA SABHA ARTS & SCIENCE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN

Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College for Women has established itself for excellence in the field of education and has created history right from the time of its inception, the past 55 years it has produced women who makes a difference wherever they are placed in the society. The alumnae in turn have gratefully formed an Association to contribute in whatever manner possible to the good of the institution. Established in the year 2004, the Alumni Association of Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College for Women  has since been actively involved in supporting all the activities and initiatives at college.

Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College for Women has formed an   Alumni Association of its students with an aim and objectives to promote communication and interaction among Alumni, Students, Faculty and Corporate.

The Alumni Association maintains an alumni network and support services for Andhra Mahila Sabha Alumni throughout the world.

Mission

Andhra Mahila Sabha Alumni Association shall serve as a platform to bridge the gap of student alumni interaction driven by the ideals and values that shall ensure the up liftment of both present and future alumnus with support to build a social, knowledgeable and motivational capital for AMSASCW and its students.

Objectives

• To connect the existing alumnus with the AMSASCW and bridge the gap of communication between alumnus and students.
• To promote exchange of academic and corporate experience with the students of the college.
• To mentor and channelize the efforts of the students seeking better opportunities to learn and grow.
• To help and support alumnus develop and spread a philanthropic and entrepreneurial mindset among students.
• To advice and conduct activities that shall motivate and upgrade student skill sets.
• To work with AMSASCW campus assets to suggest new technologies and improvements that shall benchmark industrial expectations.
• To associate with the AMSASCW management in planning and execution of alumni events.

Our institution has more than 10,000 Alumni

• The Alumni Association registered with the Registrar of Societies as “The Alumni Association of Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College for Women”, Hyderabad.
• The executive body of the association meets once in three months and plans programmes to benefit the current students.
• The Alumni meet annually and have Reunions to foster fellowship and share their experiences with the new members of the group.
• Alumni members are also a part of the Board of Studies of their respective departments, this facilitates and offers valuable insights during the restructuring of the curriculum to upgrade the syllabus of the courses
• Alumni Association brings out Half Yearly Magazine “Andhra Mahila”
• Established in the year 2004, the Alumnae Assocition of ANDHRA MAHILA SABHA has since been actively involved in supporting all the activities and initiatives at college.
• The Association has been registered with the Office of the Registrar of Societies as “The Alumnae Association of Arts & Science College for Women ,Andhra Mahila Sabha ”, Hyderabad on Date 25^th March 2004.
• The executive body of the association meets once in three months and plans programmes to benefit the current students.
• The General Body meets will he held once in a year to adopt the annual report –Audited statement of account,to appoint auditors, to approve the budget proposals and transactions.
• The Alumnae meet annually and have Reunions to foster fellowship and share their experiences with the new members of the group.
• Alumni members are also a part of the Board of Studies of their respective departments, this facilitates and offers valuable insights during the restructuring of the curriculum to upgrade the syllabus of the courses.
