Internal Complaint Committee
Objectives:
- To create and maintain safe, healthy and supportive environment for Women and girl students in the campus.
- To take consistent action for prevention, prohibition and redressal of complaints regarding sexual harassment and gender discrimination.
- To comply with AICTE regulations (Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013).
Responsibilities / Functions:
- To enquire complaints received from female employees and students.
- To address cases of discrimination and sexual harassment.
- To recommend appropriate action against the guilty party.
- To conduct gender sensitization programmes.
- To promote zero tolerance policy towards sexual harassment.
- To organize awareness activities related to women issues.
Procedure:
- Convener prepares agenda in consultation with Chairperson.
- Agenda circulated two days before meeting.
- Decisions taken based on majority.
- Committee prepares and approves final report.
- Maintain records with supporting documents.
