At Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College For Women OU Campus, we know how to reward meritorious students. This compilation would help you in knowing the various types of Scholarships & Financial Assistances by the College Management:
Contribution for a memorial award/scholarship fund show respect for a loved one who has passed on. While flowers, cards, and gifts are a touching gesture for loved ones of those who have passed on. A grant collection directly honour’s the memory of a loved one who is no longer living. A grant will carry the name of a loved one along with a legacy to prioritize learning. When you set up a fund in a loved one’s memory, you are touching the lives of hopeful students and honouring future generations which will be a ray of hope in the lives of Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College For Women OU Campus Students.
1.The Memorial scholarship amount will be awarded as scholarship towards the Tuition fee and other fees of the student in the Institution.
2.The Sponsor can name the scholarship on their beloved ones or family name. Eg. Gandhi memorial scholarship.
3.If the Sponsor wishes to sponsor the scholarship or an award to a special category of students like B.A,B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, or any other category (eg. Gandhi Memorial Award for topper in English) they are welcomed.
4.The scholarship amount can be contributed to the Institution annually or as consolidate amount to be fixed and given as an award every year.
5.The amount of Scholarship to be given is at the discretion of Sponsor Rs 5000.00 and above annually or a fixed amount of Rs. 10000.00 (which will be used as fixed fund to give every year) and above.
6.The sponsor can transfer the amount either by cheque or any e-payment mode to College Account No. 060410011111902, IFSC Code UBIN0806048 , Union Bank, Vidyanagar branch, Hyderabad.
7.The Awards Committee with the consent of the Management will finalize the eligible candidate for scholarship.
8.The family members of the sponsors are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
9.The recipient should agree to on the scholarship terms and conditions and will pursue the study with the funding offer.
10.The award recipient should produce a formal letter confirming the details of the scholarship within the stipulated time. If not given it will be awarded to the next eligible candidate.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
a) Financial Assistance by Management: The Management renders financial assistance like concession in college fee to the deserving students. The prescribed form for fee concession along with Income certificate issued by M.R.O should be submitted. Caste, Residence and Income certificates issued by M.R.O should be enclosed with the Scholarship forms.
b) Government Scholarships: PG students can apply for the Government Scholarships as per the guidelines directed by the Government from time to time. College is a facilitator to the students to avail the scholarships.
Scholarships Offered:
1. RTF: Reimbursement of Tuition Fee from State Govt. in full for students pursuing PG courses approved by the University.
2. MTF: Maintenance charges or Mess charges for PG students are sanctioned every month as per the rates mentioned by Telangana Government.
Students Eligibility Criteria:
- Students who belong to SC, ST categories whose annual parental income is Rs. Two Lakhs or below.
- BC & Minority Welfare Students of rural area whose family income is Rs. 1 lakh to 50,000 or below.
- BC & Minority Welfare Students of Urban area whose family annual income is Rs. 2 Lakhs or below.
- EBC, Disabled Welfare Students whose parental income is Rs. One lakh or below.
- Students whose attendance is 75% at the end of each semeste
- Proficiency Scholarships by Management:University Ranks & Medals are the most noteworthy feature of the college for its success rate of the students in the Osmania University Examinations. It has a track record of excellent results & securing Gold Medals & top ranks in the University. Apart from University Gold Medals, the College has instituted special awards for toppers in Degree and P.G. The Certificates and Medals are awarded to students considering the Academic performance and total marks (SGPA & CGPA) secured in the University Examinations.

The Scholarship will be given (Rs. 5,000/-) to one student of l year intermediate and one student of the ll year To the 1 year intermediate course the scholarship will be given to the student who secures the highest marks in the SSC Examination from Andhra Mahila Sabha High School. If the student who secured the Highest marks does not join in the Andhra Mahila Sabha College, the scholorship will be given to the student who secures the highest marks from among the students who join this college after passing the SSC Examination form Andhra Mahila Sabha School. To the 2nd year intermediate course the scholarship whill be awarded tho the student who secures the highest marks in the intermediate 1 year Examination from this college.

To candidate who passes the intermediate Examinations from the college securing the highest marks among the students of this college and pursues the course of study in the college. Otherwise the scholarship will be given to the next candidate who pursues the course of study in this college(B.Com-1) To the candidate who passed B.Com-1 year examination securing the highest marks and pursues the course of study in this college. If such student does not continue to study in the college, the scholarship will be awarded to the next candidate who has secures highest marks from among the student who passed from this college and pursues the course of study in the college B.Com 11 year.
